At last, my final exams are over.. Now, the only thing left is my thesis based on a project called Discovery Messenger.. It looks very similar to MSN Messenger but it has just a few more features. I don't know if it would be used by thousands but it's only a prototype.. It's in experimental stage since it only uses a database to hold everything and also for the communication, no socket programming..or nothing else..

Any way, I talked to a friend that I haven't spoken for maybe a year.. He's studying IT (erm, i guess..) in Wien. He made me to get my future plans back for going abroad again.. I was thinking of changing Raptiye for a while, like setting a homepage before the blog to gather informations like what I do and who I am, my CV (in other words, Resume, thanks to Mustafa..) etc.. I also think of writing in English so that it would be global. It would also be good to gather more people's attention all over the world. I like writing articles or how-to's in Turkish. But I really think that the time has come to improve my skills on different things, different hobbies and change my life a little bit. I've got to use my all chances to make my future better. At the same time, I don't know what to do in the future. Should I be centralized on 1 subject or should I do software development, should I be at the sales department or just what ? Sometimes I want a position at the administration of a development project and sometimes just a developer..it's also noteable that I can sit more than 10 hours a day in front of the computer for anything that I'm interested of.

I'm thinking of 4 different individual projects right now. 2 of them are web applications. One of them is going to be very popular in Turkey I guess, who knows.. The 2 others are a Film Archieve Application (which I'm going to write with PyGTK) and a Rapidshare Downloader app which I named as Rapider. Both are going to be licensed with GPL or another license.. I haven't decided yet. I'm going to use PyGTK for it too.. By the way, I'm considering to use Django for the web applications and going to write how-to's (probably in Turkish at a Wiki I'm going to create) as soon as I get started.

I guess I'm moving from Şile back to Istanbul on 20th. My academic years are over now. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to do master or not. I want to do it in Germany or in another country but not Turkey.. (this is another story) I also want to improve my German. We'll see what's coming next. I'm taking my chances..
